Topography

About

A standing physician network for clinical-AI and digital-health startups.

Topography is an expert network of US, ABMS-board-certified physicians, organized as standing panels matched to indication. Companies use us for advisory calls, for the validation and annotation work that puts a model on the record, and as the operating layer underneath their scientific advisory board. The same physicians do all four kinds of work, which is what lets the work compound.

Alexander Saint-Amand founded GLG in 2001 and ran it for two decades; it became the largest professional expert network in the world. Topography is the answer to what an expert network looks like when clinical AI requires a physician-judgment layer at platform scale, and when the people on the buyer side are seed-stage founders rather than long-cycle pharmaceutical clients.

The clinical infrastructure underneath Topography has supported one hundred seventy completed Phase II–IV interventional trials in gastroenterology, hepatology, and obesity medicine. The second version of the company is rebuilt on that heritage. The physicians are the same. The workflow is continuous instead of project-based. The subject has changed from drug candidates to AI outputs.

The company is based in New York. Correspondence to the panel office, and to the founder, runs through the same address.
